Fact #1 – Interest

I usually told to people who are asking me about blogging and affiliate marketing that if you have even small intention and interest on writing a stuff that you really like then go for it. So the first and most important thing in starting blogging is to have interest on what you are writing about.

Without interest there’s no point even starting blogging. Why?

1. Because you spend your time for nothing.
2. You can’t keep your blog constantly updated. Not meaning that you have to update it every day.
3. From technical side it hurts your search engine rankings and thus not getting visitors regularly.

So when starting a blog, remember interest first. It doesn’t matter what the topic is all about and here I assume that you know you don’t go for topics like racism or violent and so on. I highly recommend avoiding those kinds of topics.

Fact #2 – Knowledge

So think on what you are interested in. If you have lots of things you are interest in then write all your interest topics down and pick up the one that you have the most knowledge of. This fact effects on what you can provide for your readers. If you don’t have enough knowledge on that topic but your interest level is high, don’t worry. You can always make research.

Sometimes when I write myself some topic I do some research before I write that post. Also in general it is good to make some research for two reasons at least.

1. You will learn new things from that topic.
2. You have more information to provide for your readers.

Fact #3 – Resources

With this fact I mean if you have resources like photos, videos or sound about that topic, add them to make your post even more powerful. This will give good reputation about yourself and your blog because you will show the diversity aspect of your blog.

If you don’t have resources mentioned above it is okay. You can always buy for example photos from royalty free sites like iStockphoto or Bigstock. You will have full rights to publish those photos once you have bought them to your blog.

So the first fact is required is like compulsory and two other facts are optional. Remember not to hesitate to start blogging if you have interest

Starting Blogging From Technical Aspect

I’m not going deeply on how to start blogging from technical aspect because I have also taught here many times. So again quick revision.

1. Buy a web hosting account.
2. Buy a domain name.
3. Install your blog on your domain name.
4. Install all necessary plugins (for example All In One SEO)
5. Make all necessary configurations in your blog.
6. Have fun and start blogging.
