If you are not familiar with Admob then here’s quick explanation before we start to discuss more about Admob. Admob is mobile advertising network. It might not be very know among people but quiet known amongst affiliates.

So today I want actually to share some of my experiences about Admob. I have discussed little bit about Admob before but we will go little bit deeply about my experiences with Admob. I think you have heard about product called Cell Phone Cash. I have made review about it and you can read it here. Anyway I bought that product and I was thinking that this could be one of the best new marketing methods that are currently available.

So I started to follow some of those videos that were provided in Cell Phone Cash. I’m not going to discuss about Cell Phone Cash because it is not our topic here, if you want more information about it please read the review but I can tell you that it is quick course that teach how to use cell phone markets to sell products and so on. It contains HD quality videos and whole product consists from seven week course.

So author of Cell Phone Cash which is also same author of Maverick Money Makers instruct in first week on video called “Make Money in 48 Hours” that in order to make money in 48 hours you need to use service called Admob. At this point this was my first time when I saw and even knew that this kind of service existed. So I decided to give a try.

Minimum deposit for your account is 50$ and the click are so ridiculous low that you can get click with cost of 0.03$. I made up six campaigns. I had quiet high expectations because not so many people know about this service and also mobile phone markets are quiet high. One of high mobile phone markets is iPhone sector.

So I put six campaigns running, optimized as much as I can and then I was waiting for results. I started to get lots of clicks and impressions too, my highest CTR (Click Through Rate) was something 5%, which is not so high but I got with my 50$ totally over 1200 clicks.

Some of my campaigns were Clickbank campaigns and results were so bad that I could never believe. At this point I was little bit sad and mad because I see how my money flows to pocket of Admob and bad thing is that you can’t withdraw money that are left in your account.

In the final point I just saw how my 50$ flew away to air and I didn’t got any benefit. At this point I decided to make some research on why my campaigns failed. Biggest reason why my campaigns failed were because they were not suitable for iPhones. So I learned from my mistake because who would buy some ebooks by iPhone? So what I found about Admob? I found that Admob is good service only if you know what you are doing. If you do not know on what you are doing and how to optimize your ads on mobile markets properly then leave this method or at least learn mobile phone marketing.

At the moment mobile phone marketing is very fruity. Before you jump and deposit at least 50$ on Admob learn first mobile phone marketing and when you know what you are doing then make some plan. Run first one or two testing campaigns if they are getting successful then concentrate on them and build other campaigns. Remember testing campaign before going deeply into it.

With over 4.1 billion mobile phones around the world, mobile marketing is having bigger impact and playing significant role in future marketing. At the moment mobile marketing is not in the same level as web based marketing but it has been forecasted that mobile marketing is going to outreach web based marketing by 2011.

One known mobile marketing company is called Admob. Admob is mobile advertising platform that is specialized in ads of iPhones. This does not mean that you can’t use Admob’s services for regular mobile phone advertising. Minimum deposit for Admob is 50$.

Mobile phone advertising is risk game if you don’t know how to advertise on it. For example when I tried services of Admob with 50$, I lost very easily all my money. I started iPhone campaign and advertised clickbank products and some cpa offers. Good thing in it was minimum click cost which was something like 0.03$. So it is very cheap but does it bring highly targeted traffic? That’s another question.

With my experiences I saw that I got high impression amount but CTR% was something around 1%-5% which is not high at all. I sent that traffic to some of my clickbank products that I promoted but as well to CPA offers. Results were very bad. I got totally something like 1200 clicks from all my campaigns and I didn’t got any single sale.

This shows how risky it can be. If you want to use mobile marketing, try to find and learn all necessary information about it and then you can start to use it. Don’t make same mistake like me and rush ahead and spend 50$ and then you will be disappointed.

Conclusion

Another good thing in mobile marketing is that it is very huge and it is going definitely provide great opportunities of marketing in future. Learn it before starting to advertise. One great way to start is to setup test campaign with some specific product and check your results and analyze them. If you get satisfying results then go with that campaign.

Today you are going to learn advanced techniques by using Google Adwords. I’m not going deeply on what Google Adwords is but rather I want to teach some advanced techniques that has generated me great results when using Adwords. I’m going to show you some of these techniques in this article but not all. If you want to learn all then wait for my secret eBook that I’m developing all the time. I don’t want to reveal anything about it but that it is about blogging. I promise that you will love that eBook because it covers lots of things about blogging, secret techniques and so on.

So let’s get into those techniques that I want to teach you. The first thing is that you need to know what kind of product you want to promote and also gather some basic information about it in order to know it better. Reason for knowing it better is that it will help you to brainstorm keywords that you will need for promotion. To do this you have two options.

1. Visit sales page of product you want to promote (Difficult way)
2. Use sales page domain in Adwords (Easy way)

For this you need to go to the sales page of product you want to promote. Read headline, bullet points and other important information because by using those you can construct keyword list that we are going to use. Write them down to notepad or to whatever software or note you are using. When you have wrote them down you will see some important keywords. At least you will see main keyword and related keywords to your product. Write them down to new file or to new note. Now we are done with this part. Let’s cover now the easier way.

Use sales page domain in Adwords

For this step we need our first tool which is Google Adwords Keyword Tool. If you don’t have account with Adwords, that’s okay. You can still do this step.

1. Copy your product sales page website address.
2. Go to Adwords Keyword Tool.
3. Choose “Website content” option.
4. Paste your sales page website address into URL field.
5. Hit “Get Keyword Ideas”.
6. Pick up keywords that has over 20K search volume in Global Monthly Search Volume column.

Hint: You can use Keyword Tool to gather all your desired keywords and format them into .csv format. This is Excel file.

Before we continue further I want to point out two things. First if you wondered that why to pick up keywords that has search volume in Global Monthly Search Volume column it is because they are recommended keywords that has enough search volume to be potential keywords that brings lots of traffic. Second thing that I want to point out is that Adwords Keyword Tool Search volume estimation is not as accurate as you might see. It can be lots of different than in results. It is said that it is estimation that might be higher or lower 10% than that search volume in keyword tool. But it is the best tool that we have at the moment which is also free.

First Technique – Using Main Keyword Right

Okay so now you have those keywords and it’s time to apply those techniques. First advanced technique is related to your ad headline and description field. For this pick up keyword that has high search volume, for example Make Money Online. Now we will take that keyword phrase and type it in your ad headline and also in your description. Reason for this is when someone searches that keyword in Google search engine and you have that keyword in your headline and in description it is bold in your ad. This means that your ad will be displayed 100% sure in first page’s right side, if you have enough high bid. This is very important part. It is ad optimization.

Now you will see that we have used our main keyword phrase in headline and in description. This will help lot your ad to be displayed. That’s the first technique.

Second Technique – Lowering Bid Cost

Now with this technique you can’t lower your bid something like 70% – 80% but instead something like 40% – 50% which is also quiet high. The secret of this technique is that you will high CTR (Click Through Rate). My best CTR has been over 60% believe me or not.

To do this we need Keyword Wrapper Tool which is luckily very useful, time saving and free tool. This tool is called Adwords Wrapper. You can get this tool from website called Mike’s Marketing Tools. For this we need our main keyword and only thing what we need to do is wrapping that keyword and paste it in our ads keyword list. If you are making only one ad then you can do this manually but this tool is very handy when you have like 10-2000 keywords that you want to wrap.

This tool is very simple to use. Copy your keyword(s) to box which has underneath it a button called “Wrap AdWords”. You have in the right side also some options but we are not going to cover them because they are quiet self explanatory. Paste your keyword there and hit Wrap AdWords. You will be directed to new page where you can choose your wrapped keywords. Copy and paste them into your Google ad keyword list.

When you have enough high CTR and your ad has had enough long history you will see how your bid cost will reduce something like 40% – 50%.

Email marketing is very effective way to boost your sales especially when you have a big list of subscribers. So what actually email marketing means? As its name indicates it means using emails to be sent to subscribers as marketing method.

It is reliable and easy to use as marketing method. Only bad thing in email marketing is possibility of spamming but that is not new thing. Also big subscribers list is difficult to build if you don’t know some tricks related to list building. We are not concentrating on this article on list building so let’s put that aside this time.

How it works?

Briefly said it works like this. You need to have at least two main elements.

• Website
• Email marketing service

Usually website is landing page which contain subscription script but it can be also regular website or blog. This script can be HTML or Javascript script.

Email marketing service is a service where user can manage subscribers and all emails to be sent to subscribers. This includes managing broadcast messages.

There are free and paid email marketing services. Here are some examples of free and paid email marketing services.

Free email marketing services

• PHPList
• DadaMail
• poMMo

Paid email marketing services

• Aweber
• iContact
• Getresponse

Difference between free and paid email marketing services is mainly email delivery reliability. Usually email marketing services that are paid has better email delivery reliability. Also paid email marketing services has better service and good support.

When you have chosen your email marketing service it is time to configure subscriber script and copy it to your website. There you need also to decide that what kind of information you want from your subscribers. Usually name and email will be enough. If you ask more information about them, there will raise big doubt in their mind. Reason for this is they feel that you are asking too much personal information about them.

When that is done it is time to test your email marketing service and the script. It is good to test at least two things.

• Sending test email to your email address
• Test subscribe to your list

Sending test email can be done in email marketing service. You need only to define an email address to where to send that test email. If you receive it then everything is good. If you don’t receive it in your inbox please check your spam or junk folder.

Next thing you need to test that subscription is working. This can be done easily by subscribing to your list by adding at least your name and email. Then check from your email marketing service that you have got new subscriber. If you get new subscriber notification and you probably get it then you know that everything is good and working, however if you don’t receive it then check your configurations.

If your script is working properly then you have done everything right and your script is ready to suck some subscribers to your list.

The Power of Gold List

With gold list it is meant a big list which has targeted subscribers. They are really interested in what your website is about. The power of gold list is huge when it comes to selling some product or giving useful information.

For example when you have 20K subscriber list and you want to refer or sell some product it is easy to do and probability that you get sales has huge probability. It is said that usually 50%-80% of your list will check your email that you send to them and from those 10%-30% will take action. For example if you are selling some product 10%-30% of those subscribers who see your “sale letter” or “sale email” will buy that product. Of course there are some facts that will effect to their decision. One of them is how good you can convince them to buy your product or product that you are referring.

Let’s take an example how much you would earn money with your 20K list.

We have a product that cost 50$. We have list of 20K. We will send an email where about 60% of subscribers will check your email. Let’s make some calculation.

0.60 x 20 000 = 12 000

That would be 12K. From those 12K let say that 20% will buy your product or product that you refer.

0.20 x 12 000 = 2 400

This would be 2 400 sales. Now let see how much this would make you money.

2 400 x 50$ = 120 000$

This would make $120K.  $120K is not bad and this is only when you refer or sell your product to your subscribers. So it has quiet big potential.
