So what you should do at this moment once you know those methods, well of course you should start using them. You need to remember that you can’t go from one day with 2 unique visitors to 1000 unique visitors unless there will happen a miracle. So what I’m trying to say is that we need to face the reality. The reality is that working with traffic is not easy but once you success in each of those methods you will definitely boost your traffic.

You need to test different methods. What is the best method you are getting traffic with? What are other methods that you are getting traffic with but need to make better work to get even more traffic? You need to ask those kind questions from yourself. Once you have found methods that you are getting lots of traffic with then continue on working with them and scale them up.

 For example if I find out that video marketing is bringing me lots of traffic then I will definitely continue making more videos. Beside of making more videos I would also make them more professional and I would test how much that will get more traffic than my regular way to make videos.

Here are some steps that I highly recommend to do to test all above methods:

1. Choose all methods you want to start with.
2. Perform required tasks (writing content, creating videos, optimization, bookmarking, etc.) for each method.
3. Observe results weekly or monthly.
4. Close off all methods that are not bringing you lots of traffic and concentrate on methods that bring you lots of traffic.

Note that all methods that you are using can be also used to build backlinks, no matter what method you are using. As far as you have your links in content, even with video marketing you can always have your website or blog link in description box.

This means that it doesn’t matter what kind of traffic resource it is but as long as it is not related to topic or subject of your site then that kind of traffic is not good. As far as I has experienced one source of junk traffic is those sites where you can buy for example 10 000 visitors for 10$.

Now we have to questionize those kinds of sites. First of all we need to know that do they deliver real human traffic meaning that are there real people who are viewing our site or not? Answer for this is yes but this is not the common problem. Another question is this traffic targeted or not? Obviously it is not and this is the biggest problem.

My advice is that you would stay out of those kinds of sites and save your money for better purpose.

Normal traffic

With normal traffic I mean that it is traffic where there are somehow people that are interested on your site topic or subject and rest is not much interested. This kind of traffic can be got for example from directory sites where you have submitted your site into. Another example is if you have a blog and you have ping addresses that pings your blog you will get lots of people into your site but are they all interested in what you offer? Probably not unless you have some super content that is must read.

This traffic is what I say is okay. However this is not the best traffic that we want to get to our site, right?

Targeted traffic

This is the golden nugget that we want to get. Targeted traffic is so obvious that it does not require explanation or does it? Well here it goes for newbies. Targeted traffic in its simplicity means traffic that is related to your site.

Because targeted traffic is very vital to your site as you guess it is also most difficult to get. There are lots of methods how you can get them but those methods either are free and requires lots of works or they are paid and can be done easily. With free method I mean SEO (Search Engine Optimization). This means to optimize your site to search engines meaning that search engines can find your site based on what people are searching for.

With paid method I mean for example Google Adwords. With Google Adwords you pay only when someone clicks on your ad.

Conclusion

When comes to traffic, of course we want to capture only traffic that is related to your site. Therefore it’s very vital to learn SEO especially if you don’t want to pay single dime on your traffic. However you need to remember that SEO is not short process and requires work to do and some strategies.

If you want to get highly targeted traffic fast and you have good budget, then I advise you to head into Google Adwords. But don’t go there and start campaign without having experience. Here is one warning sign that you need to remember. Google Adwords will suck all your money that you have invested into your campaigns UNLESS you know what to do.

• If you don’t get traffic from social networks don’t give up. Be strong and keep trying.

Those are most important tips. Remember to be active all the time however it doesn’t mean that you have to be there every single hour and spend time. Remember also that traffic you are getting from social networks is targeted.

Creating a video is simple. All you need is information and video software. We made test about filling our site information in some specific forums and we were quiet surprised about traffic result. In first week when we established this blog 50%-60% of our traffic came from forums.

Second thing what you can do is to write your signature. You can add your site link there. Usually it is permitted but you need to find out that does your forum allow that. When you write comment or post your signature will be displayed underneath of your comment.

Third thing which is little bit tricky but not so many people do it is to add your website address on your location field. Usually people type their country name and it should be but this is small trick that brings attention. When it is mixed with your website address, vóila more traffic.
