It’s time to cover final steps of making money online with own product. We have reached now to the point of creating a website. If you know how to create a website, you can skip this part.

When creating a website usually we speak about sales letter, squeeze page or membership site. Squeeze page is a page where owner of that page is trying to get visitors’ basic information (name and email) in change of free eBook or something similar.

Now I’m not going to discuss about what kind of content you should have because I assume that you know what kind of content you want to include to your sales letter. Rather I will discuss about technical side.

 Now that you have prepared your content to your website it is time to create other things such as banners, affiliate materials (JV), programming whole website and etc. Main thing in creating a website is that you make your website professionally looking, very clear, informative and that it will lure your readers to take action. To make that kind of website you need to understand construction of website meaning that what parts we need in order to create our website.

There are at least two parts that each website needs:

1. Sales letter.
2. Membership area i.e. page where customer can download product.

Third part that is highly recommended is to add Upsell and Downsell pages. Those are pages where vendor give special offers for those customers who have or are willing to buy vendors’ product. Those pages contain offers that are related to your product. Usually they are upgrades, other products or add-ons. Let’s discuss little bit deeply about sales letter and membership area page.

Sales letter

The aim of sales letter is to sell the product to customer meaning that it must make client to take an action by consistently assuring that specific product is going to solve customers’ problem and that it will be huge benefit for him/her. How to write this kind of sales letter? That’s out of this subject. But you need to understand the main idea of sales letter and for that you need to know what it should contain.

Sales letter should contain:

• Very strong headline.
• Important and useful information about product.
• Benefits of product.
• Proofs that product can work to anyone.
• Video proofs if possible.
• Testimonials.
• Bullet points.
• etc.

Membership area

This might be misleading term when we speak generally about it. What I mean with this is the page where customer can get the good for their payment. We can use another term about this kind of membership area and it is Thank you page.

Now you know most basic parts that we need. By the way those are not only things that we need in our website. Other things are as I mentioned before are images, banners, videos and etc.

Tell me how I can create a website?

You have two options, either outsourcing or making own self. Outsourcing would be easiest way but you need to spend money. If you want to make your own then you need following programs:

• Website building program
• Image editing program
• Files uploading program

For building website

There are lots of good website creation programs available. One that I recommend is called NVU. It’s 100% FREE and you can download it by clicking here. With NVU you don’t need to know HTML code because it has graphical interface.

I’m not going to explain basics of HTML programming because it will take so much time and I need to write so many pages about it in order to understand the basics. However when you consider to learn HTML programming I suggest W3Schools.com site. This is great website that teaches you everything about HTML from scratch without having any foreknowledge about programming till you understand all basic and advanced syntaxes and tricks.

When setting up website for your website it’s healthy to understand at least basics of HTML code. HTML is easy to remember and use. When you understand the basics of HTML you will also save lots money because you don’t need to hire someone to make basic stuff for you when you can do the same in matter of minutes or hours.

For creating graphics and editing images

In order to complete the whole website you need also to have graphics. So you need a tool or software to edit photos. For this purpose I recommend a software called GIMP. GIMP is an open source image editing software that does almost everything what Photoshop can do. Well, photoshop is of course better but GIMP is also good solution, especially for beginners. For uploading files

You don’t need software that will upload files to your server because you can do it when you have webhost. They will provide file uploading service. However it is recommended to use some freeware software that will upload files to your server or to your site so that you don’t need every single time to login to your webhosting site and go to that service. One file uploading program that is much known around the world, most used and I recommend is called Filezilla. You can download FileZilla by clicking here. What else I need?

Very important things that you need are web hosting and domain name. For web hosting you need only to register and then you can buy or get free domain name. I highly recommend joining to Bluehost because it provides unlimited space and bandwidth, one free domain and their cPanel is very diverse. Also their monthly price is very cheap, under $7/month.

When you have created your website the next thing you need is to upload all files via file uploading software or via file uploading service that your web hosting has provided. When that is done it’s time to test that everything is working properly.
