Using Adsense is one of the easiest ways to earn money online. Register for account, choose your ad formation, copy and paste ad code to your site and watch how money rolls to your account. Unfortunately Adsense is still not the best way to earn money. Reason for this are:
- You need lots of traffic in order to make hundreds or thousands of dollars.
- You need to know where to place them to get best result.
- Earnings are not so high per click.
If you don’t know what is Adsense, here’s quick brief explanation about it. Adsense is service where publisher can place Google ads to own site and every time when someone clicks those ads publisher earns money. So let’s continue.
How to add Google Adsense ads?
If you are experienced Adsense user about Adsense then you can skip this section. This is more for beginners who want to learn Adsense. I’m not going to cover how Adsense works because it is not the main topic of this subject. So we are only going to focus on how to earn money with Adsense and hence I’m going to show you how to install it and give you some tips how to optimize your Adsense ads.
Setting up Adsense
Step 1 – Register Adsense Account.
Step 2 – Login to your account.
Step 3 – Click Adsense Setup.

Step 4 – Choose your Ad format.

Step 5 – Configure your ad.
Step 6 – Copy and paste code to your site!
It took only 6 steps to setup your account and ad to your site. It takes maybe 15 minutes or not even that. Next thing we are going to cover is optimization. This is very important part because we want also to boost our revenues.
Optimizing Adsense
Because I want to make this very simple without writing big explanation I thought it would be good idea to give speech to Google Adsense Host Andrew to explain adsense optimization more in detail by video. This video is Google Adsense Webinar which was held on April 1, 2009. One thing I want to mention about this video is that you need at least some basic understanding about Adsense in order to understand following videos although they explain even optimization basics.
Another thing that I want to mention is that in following video they are going to show Google Adsense “heat-map”. This heat-map is done by Google and you can download that heat-map from their website by clicking here. Enjoy!
